John Driscoll, Missoula Symphony Orchestra

John Driscoll, Missoula Symphony Orchestra’s Executive Director, shared his thoughts on leading a local, but internationally known, fine-arts organization. John spoke with the students enrolled in MGMT401 Event Management, recently. He discussed the many challenges faced by people who lead symphonies. He discussed the recruiting and selecting of artists, conductors and the many other people who also play important roles in producing a highly respected symphony. He also discussed different strategies for marketing the Missoula Symphony.
