Record Producers John Hanlon and Dave DeVore

World renowned and multi-platinum record producers, John Hanlon and Dave DeVore, visited with students enrolled in the Introduction to the Entertainment Business and Principles of Entertainment classes. Hanlon and Devore shared their insights on working with creative artists and overseeing the production process. Additionally, they discussed the impact of new media technology on the recording business, and its future impact on the film business. Having worked with an array of leading artists such as the Beach Boys, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Grateful Dead, Ringo Starr, Santana and Neil Young, Hanlon and DeVore had many experiences to draw on to both discuss and illustrate a wide range of managerial issues.
