Fair Director Bob Wagoner

Bob Wagoner, the Director for the North Dakota State Fair and former GM for the Billings’ MetraPark, discussed the responsibilities that venue managers and fair and festival operators face on a daily basis with students enrolled in MGMT 195 Introduction to the Entertainment Business and MGMT 402 Principles of Entertainment Management I. Wagoner spoke about the importance of producing a mix of events that meet your consumers’ needs. He also spoke about the various revenues sources available to venues, fairs and festivals as well as about each of their relevant costs.
