Talent Agent James Yelich Speaks with Students in MGMT 195 and 401

A graduate of the University of Montana, James fell into the music business helping a college roommate promote University sponsored concerts. James has represented big name talents such as Alan Jackson, The Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Jonny Lang, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Lyle Lovett as well many others. He is currently General Manager of the Paradigm/Monterey Peninsula Agency. James spoke with students enrolled in Management 195: Introduction to the Entertainment Business about the role and responsibilities of agents in full service entertainment agencies and management companies. In Management 401: Entertainment Venues, James had a conversation with the students about the development of relationships between venues and agencies and the importance of maintaining these relationships.
